Why Use BookMyGarage to Book Your Renault MOT?

With BookMyGarage, you’re always in control. We’ve helped over 17.8 million drivers compare prices through our comparison site, enabling them to book the best deal on their MOT, service or repair. And, with thousands of 5* reviews on Trustpilot, drivers clearly love the choice we provide.

When you need a trustworthy MOT centre for your Renault, we’ll help you find it. Garages' reviews are verified and unfiltered, allowing you to make an informed choice - and every garage sets and updates their prices themselves, so you’ll never pay more than you expect (unless you agree to additional repair work with them directly).

Here are some of the other ways we’ll help you choose your perfect test centre:

Easy 3-Step Booking Process. There’s no upfront registration and no faff. You just provide your vehicle’s details, choose the best deal and provide a suitable date and time for your MOT. That gives you more time to do the things you care about.

Filter Garages Your Way. Whether you want to book the cheapest Renault MOT or care more about the garage’s reviews, we’ve got you covered. You can filter your search results by price, reviews & ratings, distance, availability and additional services to find the best deal for your needs.

Transparent Prices. Every MOT centre listed on our comparison site always sets and updates its own prices, so there are no nasty surprises at the end of your appointment. This price won’t change unless you agree to extra repairs directly with them.

Clear Communication Throughout. After you make your booking, we’ll never leave you in the dark. Not only do we provide a confirmation email ourselves, but we also pass your contact details on to your chosen garage. This means they can keep in touch throughout the process. They may send you a confirmation email themselves and will contact you whenever there is a development with your Renault MOT. That way, you get the peace of mind you deserve.

Compare deals and save up to 70% on your car maintenance when you choose one of the lower-cost options through BookMyGarage. Enter your vehicle reg and postcode to compare instant prices on a Renault MOT and book the best deal today.

Compare Local MOT Centres & Book an Appointment At the Best One Before Your Expiry Date to Ensure Your Renault is Road Legal

If your Renault is due an MOT test, you must book an appointment before the expiry date to continue driving on UK roads. The test checks whether your car meets road safety and environmental standards, and you will be prosecuted if caught driving without a valid MOT certificate.

The only exception to this rule is if you are driving it to a garage for repairs after a failed test or to a pre-booked MOT.

Book your MOT well in advance to avoid the risk of missing your test date. You can book up to 12 months in advance through our online comparison site and save up to 70% on an MOT near you in the process by comparing deals.

Enter your vehicle reg and postcode to compare instant prices and book a Renault MOT near you in 2 steps today.

When Is My MOT Due?

If you’re not sure when your Renault's MOT is due, enter your reg into our FREE MOT Checker & find out in a matter of seconds. We pull your vehicle’s information directly from the DVSA database to tell you exactly when your MOT is due.

You can then book an appointment in 3 simple steps if your expiry date is approaching.

SecretServiceTM: Specialist Care During Your Renault MOT

They’re looked after by manufacturer-trained technicians that know your vehicle best and all work is completed using manufacturer or OEM equivalent parts and equipment.

To protect their reputation, they keep the group name anonymous and we let you know their name when your booking is confirmed. No payment is taken (you pay them direct after the work is complete) and you can cancel at any point if you are not happy with the choice.

About Renault

Another French company churning out good-looking vehicles, Renault has been in the business of making cars since 1899. The alliance of Renault with Nissan (conveniently called the Renault-Nissan Alliance) make up the fourth largest automotive group in the world.

Renault is also widely known for its role in motor sport, particularly Formula 1. Early work on mathematical curve modelling used on Renault car bodies is an important, but little known, part of the history of computer graphics. Renault began to take part in motorsport early in the 20th century, largely due to Marcel Renault’s own interest in the sport. Over the years, Renault acquired multiple companies with sporting connections, and in the 1970s set up its own dedicated motorsport division, Renault Sport, winning both the Le Mans 24 Hours race and the Renault Alpine A442.

But back to the world outside of motor sport! Back in 2013, the newest Renault vehicles had the lowest average CO2 emissions among European generalist brands, average at 110.1g/km.
