Booked via bookmygarage and got confirmation email from them. Few days later a nice chap from Evans Halshaw emails to say next available date isn’t until a week later than the one already confirmed! Pretty poor. Why even bother sending confirmation email when things clearly aren’t confirmed with the garage??? Can’t review garage yet as appointment is next week but bookmygarage is a joke

Hi Toby, The reply from BookMyGarage is incorrect. The booking was made on the 12th at 8:50 PM and the reply from the Garage was the next day at around 8:30am. How was your experience when you arrived at the Garage. Arnie

Thank you for your feedback Toby. We sincerely apologise that your booking experience did not meet your expectations. To clarify, many of our partner garages do not have direct booking system integration. However, every booking is emailed to the garage immediately, and they are responsible for confirming details with you within 4 hours. As stated in the Book My Garage email, the booking is not fully confirmed until then. In this case, the garage was notified of your booking on 12th March at 8:50 PM, and the email was opened at 8:51 PM. We’re unsure why they took a few days to contact you. Based on this, Book My Garage followed the standard booking process as expected. We appreciate your understanding and hope this doesn't deter you from using our service in the future. Best regards.

I had made a booking through BookMyGarage and was provided with a quotation of £206.87 for the aforementioned services. After the completion of the checks and MOT, I was informed that no additional work was necessary except for a recommendation to replace the rear wiper. However, upon collecting my car, I was presented with a bill totalling £251.52, which is £44.65 higher than the originally quoted amount. This discrepancy was not encountered during my last year experience using BookMyGarage.

Hi. You were quoted £221.53 for the Service and £29.99 for the Mot. Not by us, by the website you booked on. Please Adjust your review accordingly. We only charged you what you were quoted. People are too quick to leave negative reviews without checking the facts first.
